We all have a role to play. Stay safe. When you go out, wear a face covering and stay 6 feet from others. Review public health information sources and remain up-to-date on the COVID-19 pandemic. The following links provide current information from our local, county, state, and federal partners.

In University Heights:

  • City Hall is closed to the public. You may leave a message at 319-337-6900.
  • City Council meetings will be held remotely, pursuant to Iowa Code section 21.8. Information on how the public can electronically participate will be published as details become available for each meeting.
  • On August 18, 2020, the City Council unanimously ratified Mayor From's COVID-19 Prevention Initiative Proclamation encouraging face coverings and physical distancing.
  • For trash and recycling curbside collection, do your part to keep everyone safe by placing all items inside the wheeled carts, and keeping the carts securely closed
