COVID-19 Information and Resources

Emergency Management Agency Commission Vice Chair Mayor Louise From and Police Chief Troy Kelsay participate in phone meetings with the Johnson County Emergency Management Commission Team. The team is made up of elected officials, community leaders, department representatives, and local agencies across the county and state who are working to keep everyone safe. The team coordinates county-wide needs such as medical supplies, hospital beds, essential staff, medicine, testing, volunteer help, long-term-care facilities, school facilities, shelter needs, child care, animal care, meals, and more.

We all have a role to play. Stay safe. When you go out, wear a face covering and stay 6 feet from others. Review public health information sources and remain up-to-date on the COVID-19 pandemic. The following links provide current information from our local, county, state, and federal partners.
